Custom AI Solutions
Software Off The Lot Was Built For Somebody Else
Every tool you can buy was designed for its maker's average customer. Your business runs its own track: the exception your best rep handles by hand, the report somebody rebuilds every Monday, the step only you do. We build custom AI and software around how your business actually runs, connected to your CRM and the systems your team already uses, then tune it until your lap times drop.

Why Smart Teams Misjudge A Build
Buying a custom system is a bet on a future nobody has seen yet, and that's exactly where human judgment gets wobbly: how long it'll take, when to walk away and what's worth keeping. 3 findings explain where, and what we do about each.
Every Build Runs Long
The planning fallacy · Buehler, Griffin and Ross, 1994
Kahneman and Tversky named it in 1979; this team measured it. Students writing an honors thesis expected, on average, to finish in 33.9 days. They took 55.5, and fewer than 1 in 3 finished by their own best guess. In a later study, people told to connect the forecast to how their past projects really went lost the optimism. So you get a plan built from how projects like yours actually went, never from the best case.
Know When To Pull Into The Garage
The sunk cost effect · Arkes and Blumer, 1985
Once people have put in money, effort or time, they lean toward continuing. Cast as an airline president whose plane built to slip past radar was 90% done when a rival launched a faster, cheaper plane, 41 of 48 people chose to finish it. Asked the same question with nothing spent yet, 10 of 60 said build it. So every call to keep building is yours to make on what comes next, never on what's already been spent.
Your Team Turns The Wrench
The IKEA effect · Norton, Mochon and Ariely, 2012
People who assembled an IKEA box, folded origami or snapped together Legos valued their own work more, and rated their amateur builds close to an expert's. The effect vanished when they didn't finish or had to take the thing apart. So your team gets a hand in shaping the system, because people use what they helped build.
Built For Everybody, Tuned For Nobody
Every tool on the lot was designed by a product team for a broad market, on a roadmap you don't control. Your exceptions are edge cases to them, and edge cases wait. AI models carry their builders' choices too. In 2025, researchers at the company behind ChatGPT explained why models sometimes state things that aren't true: the tests used to grade them mostly work like a multiple-choice exam that gives no credit for "I don't know", so a confident guess outscores an honest blank. Knowing how the builders keep score tells you where a system will bluff. So we build around your track: your data, your rules, and a set answer for what the system does when it isn't sure.
Software Off The Lot
Built for a broad market, so the step only your business has may never make the roadmap. We build that step.
Language Models
Graded in testing like a multiple-choice exam, so a confident guess can beat "I don't know". We give the system a way to say it isn't sure, and somewhere to send the question.
High-Stakes Steps
An AI maker's published guide to building agents says sensitive, irreversible or high-stakes actions should get human oversight until the system has earned trust. It's the right instinct for any system that touches your customers.
The Best AI Build Uses Less AI
A race shop doesn't bolt a turbo onto the windshield wipers. Most business processes are mostly steps with 1 right answer: copy this field, route that request, send this reminder. Code does those the same way every time. AI earns its spot where judgment comes in: reading a messy email, sorting an odd request, drafting a reply that needs context. That same published guide makes the point from the other side: check that the job really needs that judgment, because otherwise a deterministic solution may suffice. So we map every step first and hand AI only the steps that need it. Rules behave the same on Tuesday as they did on Monday. Judgment is where surprises live, so we keep the surprises to the steps that need them.
The smartest part of a custom AI system is knowing where to leave the AI out.
From Build Sheet To Checkered Flag
-
Walk The Track
How the work runs today, who does it by hand and where it breaks.
-
Write The Build Sheet
What the system must do, what it connects to and the lap times it'll be judged on.
-
Build Around Your Track
AI where judgment is needed, firm rules everywhere else, so the outcome is expected and predictable.
-
Put It On The Track
The system goes to work on your real jobs, with your team behind the wheel.
-
Keep The Stopwatch Running
Hours back, steps removed and revenue touched, measured against where you started.
Judge The Car By Its Lap Times
A spec sheet tells you what a system can do. The stopwatch tells you what it did for your team.
-
Hours Back
The manual hours the system takes off your team each week.
-
Steps Removed
The copying, pasting and handoffs that stopped happening.
-
Time To First Lap
The days from kickoff to a working version your team uses on real work.
-
Revenue It Touches
The deals, renewals and orders that move faster because the system is there.

Fair Questions, Straight Answers
What Are Custom AI Solutions?
Software built for 1 business's way of working, with AI handling the steps that need judgment: reading, sorting, drafting, deciding what goes where. It runs on your data, connects to your CRM and your other systems, and follows your rules, where a tool off the shelf follows its maker's.
Should We Build Custom Or Buy A Tool?
Buy if a tool already does the job well enough. Building makes sense when the job is specific to how you run, when it touches several of your systems at once, or when your team keeps bending its process around software that doesn't fit. Before we build anything, we'll tell you if a tool you can buy would do the job.
Will It Work With HubSpot And Our Other Systems?
It's built to. A custom system reads from and writes to the places your team already works, starting with your CRM. If all you need is for 2 systems you already own to share data, that's integration work, and our HubSpot Integration Services page covers it.
What Happens When The AI Gets It Wrong?
AI is probabilistic, so we build firm rules around it. Steps with 1 right answer run on code, and the AI only does what we let it, so the outcome stays expected and predictable.
When Will We Have Something We Can Use?
Later than anybody's first guess, ours included, so you get a timeline built from how projects like yours actually went, and you'll know where it stands at every step.
The Next Play
AI Strategy And Readiness
Not sure what to build yet? Good. That's the cheapest moment in the whole project to find out.
Door #2AI Agents And Automation
Not every job needs a custom chassis. Some just need a coworker who works nights and never asks for overtime.
Door #3HubSpot Integration Services
Already own the right systems, and they just won't talk to each other? You need an interpreter, not a new car.
What's The Job Nobody Wants To Do?
Tell us the task your team still does by hand every week. Before we build anything, we'll tell you if a tool you can buy would do the job, or if you don't need anything at all.
